Church Update Regarding COVID-19

Saturday, March 14, 2020

Second Ebenezer Church Family:

I pray that you and your family are well. As you know, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization have declared COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) a national pandemic. As your pastor, please know I am committed to the welfare and well-being of you and your family. Your spiritual and physical health are of the utmost importance to me and our church executive team. We know that we can trust God during this crisis that our nation is facing.

On behalf of our church executive team, we want to share what we are doing to ensure your safety. First, as believers, we must hold on to the truth of the Word that says God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Thus, we do not operate in panic or alarm, we rest in His peace. Second, we are deeply vested in your health and we want you to remain safe during this pandemic. Visit (www.cdc.gov) for updates. Lastly, we invite you to gather with us virtually, by joining us ONLINE This Sunday, for our 8a and 10a services. We will experience the same great anointing and Ebenezer fire.

To assist with any needs or membership requests, our office will be available to you Tuesday and Thursday from 9a-3p. For now, we will suspend any onsite activities, meetings or choir rehearsals. We will remain in contact with you to update you regularly via our One Call Now system, text, email, and our social media platforms.

We stand in agreement, that God is Jehovah Shalom and He will provide peace to our world, our nation and preside in our homes.

Victoriously Yours,

Bishop Edgar Vann
